Planning & Development Phase Initial planning, architectural design, and preparation began for establishing a modern medical facility in Tripoli. Engineering and medical experts collaborated to design advanced operating theaters, ICU units, and patient-centered care environments. Recruitment of senior consultants and specialized medical teams also began.

Official Opening of International Hospital – Tripoli The hospital officially opened its doors, launching core medical and surgical services with advanced diagnostic technologies. The Emergency & Trauma Center, Outpatient Clinics, Radiology Department, and Laboratory Unit started serving patients from Tripoli and beyond.

Expansion of Medical Services & International Training Programs New specialized departments were added, including Orthopedics & Joint Surgery, Dermatology & Cosmetic Dermatology, and advanced Dental & Oral Care. The hospital hosted international medical workshops and training seminars, strengthening clinical expertise and patient care standards.

Excellence, Growth & Global Collaboration became recognized as one of the leading modern healthcare providers in Libya. Major international medical events and partnerships were established, including the International Hernia Surgery Seminar held at the hospital. Our General Manager Mr. Khalad’s Vision

GM Dr. Khalad Mohamed, General Manager of The International Hospital in Tripoli, leads with a clear vision to build a world-class healthcare institution that serves Libya with excellence, compassion, and innovation. His mission focuses on enhancing the patient experience through advanced medical technology and human-centered care, ensuring every patient receives treatment with safety, dignity, and comfort.
